Muse, Jr., University Archivist at Howard University, is a specialist in the
development and history of the University. He is co-author, with Thomas C. Battle, of
Howard In Retrospect: Images of the Capstone. Dr. Muse is a member of several archival
organizations. |

Ms. Avril J. Madison is currently the Assistant University
Archivist for the University of Washington Libraries in Seattle, Washington. She
previously was head of the Oral History Department at the Moorland-Spingarn Research
Center, Howard University, and served as Project Director for the grant-funded Voting
Rights Act Oral History and Documentation Project. |

Ronald Walters is Distinguished Leadership Scholar and Director, African American
Leadership Institute of the James MacGregor Burns Academy of Leadership, and Professor of
Government and Politics at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. A member
of the Jesse Jackson Presidential Campaign of 1984 and 1988, a frequent political analyst
for the media, and former Chairman of the Political Science Department at Howard
University, Dr. Walters is the author of numerous publications. |
