Dr. Clifford L. Muse, Jr., University
Archivist at Howard University, is a specialist in the development and history of the
University. He is co-author, with Thomas C. Battle, of Howard In Retrospect: Images of
the Capstone. Dr. Muse is a member of several archival organizations. |

Felecia Jones Ross is an associate professor of
Journalism and Communications at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Her
scholarly interests include the Black press, diversity education and racial differences in
media usage. She has authored many articles on mass communication in scholarly
journals. |

Clint C. Wilson II is professor of journalism in
the School of Communications and graduate professor in the Graduate School of the College
of Arts and Sciences at Howard University. He was recently named director of the Black
Press Institute. Dr. Wilson is the author of numerous articles, essays and books. |
